09:35 - 10:00 "Active RFID with Display Function as Advanced Labels for Automotive Logistics"
In the scene of finished-vehicle logistics today, IT technology has spread widely but still has few applications in manual operations on-site. One of the important remaining on-site issues is the visual recognition of particular vehicles by human (drivers') eyes.

Through this project, we will develop a new concept slip for finished-vehicle logistics by using active RFID with display function. This new concept will be more competitive than current auto-ID technologies such as barcodes, passive RFID, etc.

This project is being supervised by Monohakobi Technology Institute (MTI), a 100% subsidiary of the global logistics company Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line), in cooperation with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) and with financial support from the Japanese government.

10:00 Coffee & Networking Break

  • The RFID Industry continues growth across different geographies, markets and technologies, however remains very fragmented and ripe for consolidation while size and scale matters
  • Bluehill ID's positioning, objectives and market focus as a consolidator in this industry, our approach to acquisitions and the critical process of acquisition integration
  • Bluehill ID's development so far and outlook for the future

11:10 - 11:35 "Intelligent RFID-Technology Solution to the Green Sector in Europe"
  • How to prevent counterfeiting, increase trust and at the same time support logistics and supply chain visibility across a whole industry
  • Hear how the European Green sector will benefit from a very advanced RFID-solution that will influence all stakeholders in the supply chain
  • What have been business, implementation- and technical challenges in a project of this size
