IDTechEx wins Queen's award for outstanding growth
Cambridge-based consultancy firm IDTechEx wins the UK's most prestigious award for business performance - The Queen's Award for International Trade.
 
Recognising companies that have demonstrated growth in overseas earnings The International Trade Award has been won by companies such as Toyota and BUPA in the past.
 
IDTechEx was launched in 1999 with a staff of two operating from a barn in a small Cambridgeshire village. The company now boasts global offices operating in the UK, North America and Australasia advising businesses and governments from blue-chips to start-ups in countries which are acknowledged leaders in their field; from electronics in Asia to global policy in the US and introducing new technologies to the Middle East and Africa.
 
Extensive global travel, multi lingual staff and enthusiasm of seeing the benefits of these technologies realised has enabled IDTechEx to educate and steer company policy across the world through consulting, market intelligence reports and international trade shows.
