IDTechEx moves HQ to U.S., Appoints Director in Germany
Cambridge, Mass. - October 8, 2007 - IDTechEx, the leading provider of research, consulting and events in printed electronics and RFID, today announced that it has relocated its global headquarters to Cambridge, Massachusetts.
In addition, Susann Reuter, based in Chemnitz, Germany, has joined the board of directors in order to expand the company's activities in Europe.
These developments are from customer demand and form part of the company's strategy for rapid global growth.
"IDTechEx now has staff based in three continents - America, Europe and Asia-Pacific - representing our commitment to providing truly global coverage of developments in printed electronics and RFID," said Raghu Das, CEO. "Most of our customers are based in the US so it makes sense for us to base our HQ here. The UK base is continuing to grow and we are actively recruiting for several positions there."
The company, with widely cited expert analysis and premier industry events, has served clients in forty countries in 2007. IDTechEx's Printed Electronics USA in November 2007 will be the world's largest printed electronics event. The inaugural Printed Electronics Asia event in Tokyo, Japan was a sell-out.
