Speaker Biography
Edward is a Chinese entrepreneur who was named as one of the pre-eminent IT entrepreneurs for Tomorrow by Time magazine both in 1988 and 1998. Edward has already achieved great success with Sparkice Inc and has now turned his attention to the RFID space in China, having been appointed to the China Auto-ID committee and as President of the RFID China Forum.
 
As Founder and CEO, Edward Zeng is positioned to create a bright future for Sparkice and its clients. Recognized as one of China's preeminent "entrepreneurs" by TIME magazine and named as a Global Leader of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum in 1998, he drives the overall direction of the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
 
Zeng served as visiting Professor at Tsinghua University business school while working with a number of central government departments on China IT and e-commerce policy. He has authored and contributed to numerous books and papers, including "E-commerce Theory and Practice in China", a bestseller in 2000, as well as "China e-commerce Blue Paper 2001". Zeng is a frequent speaker on the topic of e-commerce in China, having presented at notable conferences such as the APEC Summit, Fortune Forum and World Economic Forum.
