Andy Grace: Director, RFID Business Unit, George Schmitt & Co.
 
Andy has over thirty years experience in technical, marketing, and sales of hi-tech electronics. He is presently the Director-RFID Business Unit for George Schmitt & Co., a leading RFID label Converter located in Guilford, CT. Prior to heading up Schmitt's RFID efforts he was a Consultant for Impinj, Inc., a leading fabless semiconductor company and supplier of RFID chips. Preceding Impinj, Andy was the Director, Product Management for RFID Tags for Matrics/Symbol Technologies where he was responsible for all Matrics/Symbol RFID chip, inlay, and label products. Andy was the
Director, Interface Products for Fairchild Semiconductor Corp. before joining Matrics. At Fairchild he was responsible for a product line that designed UHF RFID chips as well as otherdigital/analog IC's for communications; bus drivers; & a variety of other interface chips.
